Land Acknowledgement

 

Resumes for Mom operates in the Treaty 7 region.

 

We would like to acknowledge the traditional territories and practices of the Blackfoot Nations, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, and the Kainai. We also acknowledge the Stoney Nakoda First Nations of Wesley, Chiniki and Bearspaw. As well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation and Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make this traditional Blackfoot territory their home. Remember we are all Treaty people. We encourage you to learn what the Treaties mean and what you can do to further reconciliation. Every person who resides in this territory is subject to the treaty agreements and should familiarize themselves with both written, oral and Pipe agreements with First Nations. Remember reconciliation is not just about words. It's about actions. What actions can you take?
